A General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 26th November commencing at 7pm in our Meeting Room for all members. Presenters are asked to attend as Tom Rohde presents his ideas on how we can improve our servicnges to our communities. This will cover all days of the week and will put us in a good spot to provide a better service through increased community involvement in programming decisions, more community involvement in programmes and more local content. This will be a meeting not to be missed. See you there.

Annual General Meeting
Pirie Community Radio Broadcasters Inc (Trax FM) are holding their AGM on Tuesday 5th November in the Meeting Room at the Phoenix Park studios commencing at 7pm. Everyone is welcome to attend, but only full financial members can vote. The business of the evening is to receive reports, elect members of the Board and any other business that the Chairman accepts. Nominations for the Board must be made on or before Tuesday 19th October at 5pm on the nomination form posted in the Meeting Room. Nominations are open to all full financial members. Come along and hear what Trax FM has been up to this year and what we will be attempting in the coming year. Your thoughts would be valuable in helping to decide on projects next year. Changes to the Broadcasting Services Act that affect our operations will also be discussed.
Music Music Music
Our next Music Extravaganza is schedule for Friday 11th October 2019 at the Port Pirie Community Club on Broadway Road Port Pirie. This is a combined event between the Community Club and Trax FM with the admission charge and raffles in aid of Trax FM. Full bar facilities are available on the night and the usual Friday night teas will also be available. Music will be provided by The Billy Goat Hill Band. More information will follow.
Radio Reading
Our Radio Reading programme on Sunday nights at 7pm continues tonight. This programme has been well received by those people who have problems reading our local newspaper. If you would like to send feedback to our station please email secretary@traxfm.org.au. we would love to hear from you with your thoughts and comments. We already have some ideas to expand this programme to cover other material that may not be easily accessible listeners in our broadcast area.
Radio Reading
Radio Reading comes to Trax FM from 7pm tonight and continues every Sunday night at 7pm with readings from our local Recorder newspaper. Paper Talk Port Pirie, the Royal Society for the Blind, and Trax FM combine to bring this weekly broadcast for people who cannot read the Recorder. Hear your local news from your local journalists at the Recorder, read by Paper Talk , prepared and broadcast by Trax FM. We plan to include other local items of interest from time to time such as newsletters from council and other sources.


Port Pirie Masters Games
Well the Port Pirie Masters Games are over and what a thrilling 10 days it has been bringing you interviews and results and catching up with the really wonderful people in our area who organise sport for the various organisations. The crew at Trax FM appreciate the time you spent with us talking sport. Well done to all of the organisers out there who were involved from the various clubs. Without you the competition would not have gone ahead, and we would not have access the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness that you have expressed to us and our listeners through your interviews. We have made friends and have already a few things in the pipeline for the future.

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported our bingo night at the Lions Football club tonight. Thank you to the Lions for having us there and making us welcome. The money we raised will help us to continue to provide a radio service to our community we love.
Community Diary
Trax FM has a community diary which is broadcast three times a day. This diary is open to all organisations that are non-profit to help them publicise their event. To make sure we get the information on your event correct we just ask that you email us the information that you require broadcast including the date(s) of your event.
To get the best coverage for your organisation we ask you to try and get the information in at least two weeks before the event so that it is broadcast for at least two weeks.
