Sponsorship Target 2023-2024

Graham Bell

Graham Bell our long time life member of Trax FM passed away on the morning of 17th February. Graham was a very much respected member of our station with over 27 years of service to community radio. He filled many roles including Trainer, Treasurer, and maintenance person of studio equipment during his time at our station. Graham witnessed the station grow from an aspirant station to fully licensed, and was the first person on air when we switched on our transmitter at the Bluff on that Monday in December 2004 at 1.30pm. Graham contributed to our growth in that same period as an active Board member (until very recently). A Jazz and Brass Band enthusiast meant we had that genre covered during his weekly broadcasts which also included various health segments for those not so well off. Graham we miss you at the studios. May the music continue forever.

New Studio Number

We have a new studio number for listeners to use to talk to our presenters. Please call 8630 0719. If you call our main number you will get through to our office. Currently that does not have a messagebank but will have one when it is switched over to our new provider.

New Programmes

During the current period of restrictions we have introduced some changes to our programming on Trax FM. Evening timeslots on Mondays and Fridays have music programming without presenters and this is likely to continue for quite some time. With winter approaching we will concentrate on having presenters on air during daylight hours. The exceptions are Thursdays and Saturdays where the current programmes will continue.
