We already have some ideas to expand this programme to cover other material that may not be easily accessible listeners in our broadcast area.

Radio Reading

Radio Reading comes to Trax FM from 7pm tonight and continues every Sunday night at 7pm with readings from our local Recorder newspaper. Paper Talk Port Pirie, the Royal Society for the Blind, and Trax FM combine to bring this weekly broadcast for people who cannot read the Recorder. Hear your local news from your local journalists at the Recorder, read by Paper Talk , prepared and broadcast by Trax FM. We plan to include other local items of interest from time to time such as newsletters from council and other sources.

Port Pirie Masters Games

Well the Port Pirie Masters Games are over and what a thrilling 10 days it has been bringing you interviews and results and catching up with the really wonderful people in our area who organise sport for the various organisations. The crew at Trax FM appreciate the time you spent with us talking sport. Well done to all of the organisers out there who were involved from the various clubs. Without you the competition would not have gone ahead, and we would not have access the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness that you have expressed to us and our listeners through your interviews. We have made friends and have already a few things in the pipeline for the future.

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported our bingo night at the Lions Football club tonight. Thank you to the Lions for having us there and making us welcome. The money we raised will help us to continue to provide a radio service to our community we love.
